Make a QR code for a URL, text or Wi-Fi network. Download a crisp PNG or SVG, ready to share or print.

Higher error correction uses more space. Maximum content: 1,800 UTF-8 bytes; dense codes may need a larger print size.
Your QR code will appear here.
Static code · No redirect · No expiry
Scan your downloaded code with a phone before printing. Wi-Fi codes contain your network credentials.
USEFUL DETAILS
A QR code that points straight to your content.
These are static QR codes: the content is encoded in the image, with no Toolpane redirect, scan limit or expiry. A linked website still needs to remain available. Static codes cannot be edited after printing and do not track scans. Test your downloaded code with a phone before printing. Wi-Fi credentials are encoded in the code, so share it only with people who should join that network.
Quick start
Choose URL, text or Wi-Fi and enter the content to encode.
Generate the code and download PNG for a bitmap image or SVG for a scalable image.
Scan the downloaded code with a phone and check the destination before sharing or printing.
Create a QR code for a menu link
Input
https://example.com/menu
Result
A static QR code that opens that URL directly, without a Toolpane redirect.
Common questions
Do these QR codes expire or have a scan limit?
Toolpane creates static codes with the content embedded directly in the image. There is no Toolpane expiry or scan limit. A URL code still depends on its destination website remaining available, and a Wi-Fi code depends on the network details remaining correct.
Can I edit the destination after printing a static QR code?
The content encoded in a static image cannot be changed. Generate a new code when that content changes. If you control the URL, you can change what the page at that URL displays without changing the image.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
PNG is useful for everyday sharing. SVG scales without pixelation and is useful for print layouts. Keep the light border around the code, use good contrast and test the final printed size with a phone. Scanning reliability depends on size, contrast and printing quality.
Does the generator track scans?
No. There is no redirect or scan analytics service here. You can encode a UTM-tagged URL, then use analytics on the destination site to measure visits. Wi-Fi credentials are visible to anyone who decodes the image, so share those codes appropriately.
