Keep the order you need.

Keep original order retains the first occurrence of each line. Trimming runs before duplicate removal; matching is case-sensitive. Natural sorting puts item 2 before item 10. Apply to input chains another cleanup step, with Undo available.

Common questions

How do I remove duplicate lines without sorting them?

Select Remove duplicates and choose Keep original order. The first occurrence of each line is kept. Enable Trim whitespace if spaces at either end should be ignored before duplicates are removed.

Is duplicate removal case-sensitive?

Yes. Apple and apple remain separate lines. Natural sorting recognises numbers within text, placing item 2 before item 10. Prefixes and suffixes are added after the cleanup operations.
